The article highlights convergent characteristics between the performances of singers who perform live and actors who also use singing as artistic material. This approach was reinforced in interviews with students and teachers, both from Popular Singing and Theater courses at several universities. The article also analyzes the curriculum from both courses, studying the effectiveness of practical training and theoretical content applied to the person who sings on stage. Finally, we present the report of a transdisciplinary pedagogical laboratory where we were able to test teaching methodologies using, as a learning substance, the adjective body-voice-music-scene.
