Abstract

Igor Antônio Lourenço da Silva é professor adjunto da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU). É doutor (2012) e mestre (2007) em Linguística Aplicada pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, onde também cursou o bacharelado e licenciatura em Letras ”“ Inglês. Fez parte do seu doutorado na Universität des Saarlandes, Alemanha, com bolsa concedida pela CAPES. Atua principalmente nos seguintes temas: abordagem processual da tradução, abordagem discursiva da tradução, rastreamento ocular (eyetracking), Linguística de Corpus e Linguística Sistêmico-Funcional. Trabalhou na Universidade do Sarre (Alemanha) e foi professor visitante na Universidade de Macau.
