Abstract

This document presents the results of the research on the impact of the organizational bureaucratic culture in the service processes and the levels of attention towards local tour operators, by public tourism promotion agencies. It was sought to provide a response to the value of the work culture in the administrative organization of these organizations under the Weberian bureaucratic model, considering that the validity of said model is questioned in an area as dynamic as the provision of tourist services, where the demand for response to market needs, they exceed the limits of administrative bureaucratic action. It starts from the premise that bureaucratic work, in the field of tourism, is a paradigm of inefficiency, since the market operates in a culture of competitiveness and moves away from a bureaucratic (Weberian) culture.
