Abstract

Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar alguns efeitos do PNAE junto a agricultores familiares e suas organizações, no município de Marabá. A metodologia se apoiou em revisão documental e bibliográfica, além de pesquisa juntos aos gestores, escolas, lideranças e agricultores envolvidos. Aparentemente, os agricultores do município passaram a produzir com mais qualidade e diversidade, pois passaram a ter uma garantia da comercialização de alguns produtos oriundos dos seus agroecossistemas. Além disso, sua visibilidade aumentou junto às escolas envolvidas com o PNAE. Em termos de sustentabilidade ambiental, social e econômica, a pesquisa identificou várias experiências com bom nível de diversificação.
