The experiment was carried out in the field, in two periods with Douradão cultivar, in the organic crop system. In 2004, treatments were: brown paper bag 11.5 cm x 15.0 cm, paraffin paper bag 11.0 cm x 16.0 cm and control of non-bagging. In 2007 the treatments were: paraffin paper bag closed with clip, paraffin paper bag closed with plastic wire (8.0cm) long and control of non-bagging. Fruits were bagged during the thinning (2 cm Ø) and evaluated during the harvest. The packaging of brown paper and paraffin paper were efficient in preventing the incidence of fruit-fly and reduced the incidence of brown rot on fruit. The closure system of packaging with clip or plastic wire were similar in the prevention of pests and diseases and fruit quality, but with clipt he bagging were more rapid.
