Tradução em perspectiva: desafios da revisão de teoria da tradução

Esse artigo propõe uma reflexão acerca da revisão do livro Tradução em perspectiva: um diálogo entre tradutores e conceitos teóricos, organizado por Liliam Cristina Marins e Aline Scarmen Uchida. Publicado em 2020 pela editora Solar dos Livros, o volume é composto por nove capítulos escritos por diferentes autores e traduzidos por dezessete tradutores. Assim, tendo em vista também que muitos dos textos foram traduzidos por mais de um tradutor, busco identificar os maiores desafios do processo de revisão do livro supracitado. De minha parte, como um dos revisores do livro, talvez a palavra que melhor possa resumir a concepção, construção e efetivação desse projeto seja: colaboração. Quando convidado para realizar esse trabalho, foi, para mim, uma experiência satisfatória poder contar com um diálogo franco e contínuo com as organizadoras e os/as tradutores/as do volume; e o resultado, também satisfatório, se dá seguramente como consequente disso. Portanto, e tendo em vista o impacto dessa rede de interdependência entre os agentes envolvidos com a produção do livro (Latour, 1994, 2012), concluo que a tradução, enquanto experiência dialógica, se trata tanto de troca quanto de comunicação.
