TRADUÇÃO COMENTADA DE “ALLA SERA”:
A POESIA DE FOSCOLO ENTRE O NEOCLASSICISMO E O ROMANTISMO

A poesia “Alla sera”, escrita pelo autor ítalo-grego Ugo Foscolo (1778-1827), além de ser considerada pela crítica um dos sonetos foscolianos mais belos, também comporta, em sua forma e tema, características dos movimentos literários neoclássico e romântico. Com o objetivo de difundir a literatura foscoliana e colaborar com os estudos italianísticos, a proposta de tradução busca transmitir a temática noturna e melancólica que atravessa o soneto “Alla sera” bem como a poética linguagem de Foscolo. Baseada em autores como Henri Meschonnic e Antoine Berman, a tradução parte de uma concepção que não separa a forma do sentido, mas que se atém ao ritmo e à sistematicidade do texto.
