Determinantes de Innovación en Organizaciones Acuícolas de la Amazonía

Resumen

La acuicultura amazónica es reconocida como un sector estratégico para la seguridad alimentaria, la generación de empleo y la conservación de ecosistemas, en un contexto donde la innovación es crucial para abordar los desafíos ambientales y sociales. El objetivo de este estudio fue analizar los principales determinantes de la innovación en las organizaciones acuícolas de la región de San Martín. Se aplicó un diseño cuantitativo transversal mediante encuestas presenciales administradas a una muestra aleatoria de 76 organizaciones beneficiarias del Programa Nacional de Innovación en Pesca y Acuicultura. El análisis de datos se realizó mediante modelos de ecuaciones estructurales de mínimos cuadrados parciales (PLS-SEM), evaluando la confiabilidad, validez y relaciones estructurales entre siete determinantes internos y externos y tres tipos de innovación (de proceso, organizacional y de marketing). Los resultados muestran que la cooperación tecnológica y los incentivos fiscales ejercen una influencia positiva en la innovación, lo que subraya la importancia de las políticas públicas y las redes de colaboración para fomentar un sector acuícola competitivo y resiliente.

    Soy médico veterinario con maestría en Sanidad de Animales Acuáticos, egresado del Doctorado en Gestión Estratégica de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) y especialista en gestión de la innovación. Actualmente trabajo como investigador en el Instituto Nacional de Innovación Agraria (INIA), donde lidero proyectos centrados en la innovación en sistemas agropecuarios y el fortalecimiento de ecosistemas regionales de innovación. Mi trayectoria profesional combina la investigación aplicada en sanidad e innovación de animales acuáticos con la gestión estratégica de planes y proyectos de desarrollo, además de mi rol como docente universitario.
