Landscapes and tourism : about natural environmental hazards and their vulnerabilities

Abstract

This article is about the tourist landscapes and environmental hazards, considering the combination of their social and natural vulnerabilities. The tourism locally based in front of the occurrence of extreme events should also stick to aspects which take into consideration the development of complex adaptive systems, resilience of the landscape and the communities involved, further than the concerns associated to the implementation of systems of alert and preparation of communities for local emergencies and monitoring networks, aiming to ensure the quality of life and environmental of populations.
