The goal is to understand that children is comprehension and reading permeate the speeches of the readers who voted to award Inês, written by Roger Mello and Mariana Massarani, as the best book for children by the Book for Children and young National Foundation in 2016. From Foucaul is Analysis of speech perspective, we approach the concept of statement and discursive formation considering these assumptions: i) these readers are considered competent people to assert the word in relation to a quality literature; ii) their opinions constitute discursive events; and iii) every state-ment has a materiality. Elaborating opinions is a way to turn impressions into texts, senses. The discursive activity can reintegrate knowledge in which the keynote is to awaken the multiple view of the reader.
