When the time of history and narrative meet in the construction of the diasporic identity of the black woman.

Abstract

This work proposes the analysis of the possible and necessary shifts between History and literature. Through some analysis of the literary text, a color defect by Ana Maria Gonçalves, the reader will be led to a process of reflection on the construction of the identity of the diasporic black woman. In this sense, the temporal duality caused by the displacement that is the result of the enslavement process of the African population in Brazil will come up against the time of reading. In these connections, today, the time of the reader, will provide us with the encounter of being between the past and the present. Finally, these displacements and strangeness intermingle with each other and provide the recognition of being, of the individual, the collective one.
