ENRIQUECIMENTO DE 500 QUINTAIS PRODUTIVOS COM ESPÉCIES NATIVAS: UMA EXPERIÊNCIA DO PROJETO ASSENTAMENTOS AGROECOLÓGICOS

Os Quintais Produtivos são lugares multifacetados e com múltiplas funções, pois além de garantir a soberania, a segurança alimentar e a saúde das famílias, representam a oportunidade de perpetuação dos saberes, cultura, sabores, simbologias, memórias, práticas e reconstrução de novas estratégias de reprodução socioeconômica e conservação da biodiversidade. O objetivo desta sistematização foi socializar as experiências e vivências de transição agroecológica na região Extremo Sul da Bahia, com o protagonismo dos(as) assentados(as) da reforma agrária. A sistematização teve como foco o processo de formação realizado com agricultores(as) e educadores(as) do Projeto Assentamentos Agroecológicos (PAA), bem como atividades de enriquecimento dos quintais produtivos. Esta etapa materializou os anseios e sonhos das famílias, pois possibilitou o enriquecimento de 500 quintais produtivos. Como forma de enriquecimento foram introduzidas 48 mudas de espécies nativas em cada quintal produtivo. Os quintais estão sendo construídos e organizados de maneira gradativa, respeitando-se a lógica produtiva de cada família e os princípios de manejo agroecológico.Downloads
