Potential of native trees species for nutrition of cattle

Based on the experiments developed in northern of Mato Grosso with the planting of agroforestry systems, the potential of several native tree species in bovine nutrition was studied. Leaves and/or fruits were collected in the dry season of the year, and the results point to the great potential of the fruits of Samanea tubulosa and Chloroleucon acacioides.
