As fronteiras da liberdade: O campo negro como entre-lugar da identidade quilombola

O presente estudo estabelece como proposta de trabalho a realização de uma releitura da literatura que situa os quilombos ou mocambos, necessariamente, como grupos étnico-raciais que construíram projetos políticos cuja finalidade última era a derrubada do sistema escravista ou a recriação simbólica da cultura africana no Brasil.Para alcançar esse objetivo, este trabalho foi dividido em três capítulos que, em conjunto, pretendem mostrar que existem fronteiras sociais, não relacionadas apenas à raça ou etnia, mas também dadas pela cultura, que situam imaginariamente determinados sujeitos históricos ”“ como os quilombolas e os nordestinos-, à margem da representação “normal” de nação.
