This study aims to answer the extent to which the subalternization of maternity hospitals of women offenders is perceived as a difficulty to be faced in the application of house arrest of pregnant women and mothers. To this end, the exploration of women's reproductive work in the light of an intersectional approach is studied. Then, we turn to empirical studies on resistance in granting house arrest to women mothers and pregnant women. It uses a method of inductive approach, of qualitative character and with bibliographic review. It is concluded that the subalternization of maternity hospitals of women offenders is a difficulty to be faced when it comes to the application of house arrest.
