a escrita como espaço de resistência
Abstract
A partir de dois romances publicados no Brasil durante a ditadura ”“ Avalovara (1973), de Osman Lins, e Um romance de geração (1980), de Sérgio Sant’Anna ”“, são discutidas as possibilidades
da escrita em um ambiente de violência. Ao mesmo tempo em que a opressão política parece deslegitimar a opção por uma obra não-engajada, impõe-se à consciência do criador o fato de que sua produção tem reduzido efeito sobre a realidade. Isto é, a opressão agudiza o sentimento de “ansiedade” que, nas palavras de Harold Rosenberg, caracterizaria uma parcela da arte contemporânea: a percepção de que ela não é capaz de resolver os problemas que identifica.
