Dupade Repensando Deus

Abstract

This text examines the joint reflection of Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari on capitalism as a form of humanism, highlighting how "machines of semiotic capital" reterritorialize social flows, transforming "molecular lacks" into "molar lacks" and generating an imperial power that seeks to universalize the bourgeois perspective. The critical analysis focuses on the ideological manipulation of power and desire, promoting divisions and antagonisms in power relations. The notion of God is treated as an ideological construct that reorganizes social and classificatory dynamics. The text also explores the ethnography of the Ayoreo, showing how Salesian missionaries imposed a "civilization," altering their social and cultural structures, and introducing new models of marriage, punishment, and religious classifications. The transformation is associated with the machine of expression Dupade, which seeks to reconfigure the Ayoreo's reality according to the parameters of the imposed civilization, functioning as a "face" that shapes the dominant reality and operating in the decoding and recoding of local realities.
