Keywords:
.Abstract
The study of a shanty-town community is the departure point of a discussion

as well as participating observation methodologies (the perspective of the
subjects involved), the author concludes in favor of the possibility of conceiving
the subject t*ahse result of conflicts in a historical construction not determined
by a causal relation.
