ANÁLISE NUMÉRICA E HISTÓRICA DO PROJETO ESTRUTURAL DA "IGREJINHA" NOSSA SENHORA DE FÁTIMA EM BRASÍLIA ”“ DF

A arquitetura de Oscar Niemeyer significou grande avanço tecnológico estrutural, pois seus projetos são, do ponto de vista da engenharia, sinônimo de novidade e evidenciam resultados surpreendentes. A sutileza com que Oscar Niemeyer deu forma à "Igrejinha" Nossa Senhora de Fátima se destaca na arquitetura internacional. Porém, não só sua arquitetura merece destaque, o projeto estrutural desse edifício, calculado pelo engenheiro Joaquim Cardozo, é elemento fundamental na concepção da forma arquitetônica. Joaquim Cardozo é considerado um pioneiro do Movimento Moderno e calculista das principais obras de Oscar Niemeyer. A análise adequada das estruturas de concreto em obras exponenciais como as de Oscar Niemeyer pode consagrar a revolução teórica nas técnicas construtivas e de concepção estrutural que permitiram o avanço dos conceitos da arquitetura. A estrutura da Igrejinha é tão sutil quanto sua arquitetura - Pilares, vigas e lajes. A inventividade do engenheiro está justamente na forma como foram utilizados esses elementos. Tomando-se por base projetos originais da obra analisada, este trabalho faz uma análise numérica do projeto estrutural da "Igrejinha" com ferramentas computacionais disponíveis, como o SAP 2000, observando as soluções técnicas do sistema estrutural adotado e apresenta o projeto das peças estruturais da edificação segundo duas versões da Norma Brasileira para Concreto Armado ”“ NB1/1960 e a NBR 6118/2014, analisando o desempenho estrutural do projeto original.
