The paper presents a series of artworks created by the author over 15 years that focus on the study of dragonflies and on relationships between men and animals. The creative process is understood here as artsbased research, incorporating unforeseen results, detours and unexpected disclosures of the object of study. Through sensitive art experiments, one seeks to investigate the complex relationships between men and animals and to reflect poetically on existence, considering the reflexive process activated by art more important than the mere production of aesthetic objects.
