The objective of this article is to understand, in light of its territorial aspects, the potential of the Setor Comercial Sul (SCS), located in the city of Brasília, as a tourist attraction. The approach is qualitative and exploratory, with data collection from bibliographic and documentary research, virtual questionnaire and active observation. The result of the data analysis shows that the territory of the Setor Comercial Sul suffers from the stigma of being an excluded, abandoned and marginalized area, despite having a strong cultural appeal and great tourist potential. In this context, the resignification of the territory of this urban space shows that the SCS, by demonstrating that it is a plural and culturally rich space, has what is necessary to enter the list of tourist activities in the city of Brasilia.
