It is proposed in this article, the adoption of a model borrowed from Biology and related to cell membranes in which the structural elements express the dynamic way in which occur the relationships between the internal and external environment, and within the unit itself. It is suggested the model of "fluid mosaic", relating it to, as example, models established by Beni and Leiper. There were brief reflections on systems and models, reporting them to some concepts and definitions of tourism, as well as a short history of the establishment of models for biological membranes.
