Genealogias Críticas da Colonialidade em América Latina, África, Oriente
Abstract
Genealogías críticas de la colonialidad en América Latina, África, Oriente, livro coordenado por Karina Bidaseca e publicado pelo Conselho Latino-americano de Ciências Sociais (CLACSO), surge em um contexto de intensa crise migratória, com cerca de 60 milhões de pessoas deslocando-se de seus locais de origem, o maior contingente desde a Segunda Guerra Mundial. A obra, de elaboração coletiva, deixa evidente as faces do mundo contemporâneo, questionando os silêncios deixados pelo colonialismo. Além disso, objetiva contestar as epistemologias modernas, tendo em vista perspectivas des-de-coloniais. O livro está dividido em duas partes. A primeira parte, com sete artigos, aborda a colonialidade de gênero, a partir da América Latina, África e Oriente. Já a segunda parte foca nas genealogias da colonialidade do poder na América Latina e África, e conta com seis artigos e um manifesto final.
