Abstract

Comparative analysis of the characteristics of conference proceedings as information sources through the study of the proceedings of four conferences regulary held in the areas of Veterinary and Library Science in Brazil. Findings reveal that those characteristics findings vary according to the area. It is expected that will contribute to the editorial quality as well as to the adequate treatment in the bibliografic and library services.
