Abstract

Some general questions related with decision making are presented, concerning library. and information systems automation, as well as some concepts regarding documentary automation. The librarian's multi-disciplinary integration and the understanding of basic information technology concepts, can help him to assure the success of automation process, as well keep his position in the information market.
