Technological Information: Discussion about Concept Updating

Abstract

An updated concept of technological information is herein proposed, taking into consideration that the product, process and production technologies, elements of technological innovation - together with the technological functions necessary for quality guarantee - standardization, certification, metrology, industrial property and management are the basis for its definition. The economic, social and political aspects are emphasized, in addition to other technical aspects quoted in other definitions as pertinent to technology itself.
