Abstract

Planning of a manual to be used for the treatment of thesis, pamphlets and offprints in the Biomedical libraries. Samples, through questionnaires, and evaluateds the manual and mechanized processes in use by the libraries. Considers them in practical and objective aspects demonstrating the diversity of treatment of the mentioned materials. Orients in the selection and acquisition of these publications and suggests a simplified cataloguing and classification. Recomends a more practical process to preserve these materials in the library holdings.
