In this article the autor discusses a topic which is part of the present reflections and debates and also of the contemporaneous practice of Latin American and Caribbean biethicists. It is the dissimilarity between a bioethics disconnected from politics, due to a supposed bioethics apolitical feature, and a different proposal, which supports the construction of a politics-oriented bioethics. The argumentation is sustained by the elucidation of premises such as epistemology, social theory, ethics, politics, bioethics, and social práxis, in favor of an assumed politics-articulated bioethics.
