Abstract
Chegamos a mais um número da Revista Brasileira de Agroecologia e com ele ao fim de um ano, 2009, que nos proporcionou muitos bons motivos de comemoração. Ficará na história da Agroecologia brasileira e latino-americana como o ano do “Congresso de Curitiba”, que reuniu mais de 4000 pessoas para discutir e fazer crescer a Agroecologia. O VI Congresso Brasileiro de Agroecologia e II Congresso Latino-americano de Agroecologia, realizado em novembro passado em Curitiba/PR, foi um evento sem precedentes, em quantidade e qualidade, e seus debates ajudarão a construir saídas para muitos dos problemas socioambientais do mundo contemporâneo.
