the rhizome and the creation in the curriculum

Abstract

Based on the writings of Gilles Deleuze (1925 – 1995) and Félix Guattari (1930 – 1992), an attempt was made to present some shifts between their philosophy in order to reflect on some school practices. Even before the choice of these authors, the initial hypothesis was that, possibly, there was a prominence of some of the scientific disciplines at the expense of arts and philosophies. In this way, it was sought in these authors a basis to further enrich our understanding, and as such, broaden the conceptual discussions about the sciences, arts and philosophies. Through these authors, it was noticed that such knowledge has its own creative character, coexisting outside hierarchies. With this, we believe in the possibility of creative curriculum content that can address the continuous production of these subjects and integrate them even more into reality. To explain this notion, an attempt was made to displace the concept of rhizome and the multiple perspectives that involve it, breaking with some of the dominant relations.
