This work aims to study the Kant’s ethical thought. More precisely, the goal of this article is to understand the idea of self-determination of the will in Kant’s view. To accomplish it, we will analyze one of the most important works, namely, Groundwork of the Metaphysics of Morals to establish the way through which Kant justify the relationship between the idea of autonomy and free will. Concerning this aspect, it will be necessary the research some central notions of Kant’s ethic, such a good will, duty and imperative.ÂDownloads
