Abstract

It is with great enthusiasm that we present the third issue of PatryTer ”“ Revista Latinoamericana e Caribenha de Geografía e Humanidades. As of March 2019, we complete our first year of existence. The three first issues published reveal the great challenge assumed by the editing team and outline the confrontations that we face, for different reasons.Certainly, the greatest challenge, in the first twelve months, was to start and maintain the magazine without financial support from any national or foreign agency. All the work of the newspaper is carried out by members of the CNPqCidades e Patrimonializacao Research Group in Latin America and the Caribbean, based in the Department of Geography of the University of Brasilia and also coordinated by the editor-in-chief of PatryTer. Lembro gives unconditional collaboration to colleagues from different parts of America, especially Costa Rica, Mexico, Cuba, Panama, Argentina, Peru and Colombia. Please note that this issue will be presented at the III Latin American Seminar on Representations of Space, at the Institute of Geography of UNAM, Mexico, no later than April 2019.
