Author Biographies

  • Eduardo Rocha, Universidade Federal de Pelotas, Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo; Programa de Pós-Graduação em Arquitetura e Urbanismo

    Architect and urban planner graduated from the Catholic University of Pelotas (UCPel, 1997), with a specialization in Cultural Heritage from the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel, 1999), a master’s degree in Education from the same institution (2003), and a PhD in Architecture from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS, 2010). He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Department of Architecture/Laboratorio Circo/Stalker, Università Roma Tre (2019). He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Architecture and Urbanism at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism (FAUrb/UFPel), a researcher in the Graduate Program in Architecture and Urbanism (PROGRAU/UFPel), and leader of the CNPq Research Group City+Contemporaneity. He is the editor-in-chief of PIXO – Journal of Architecture, City and Contemporaneity.

    Holds a degree in Geography from the National University of Patagonia San Juan Bosco (UNPSJB, 2024) and is currently a master’s student in Architecture and Urbanism in the Graduate Program in Architecture and Urbanism (PROGRAU/UFPel). She is a CAPES fellow and a member of the City+Contemporaneity research, teaching, and extension group.

    Architect and urban planner graduated from the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel, 2006), specialist in Arts, with a focus on Visual Arts, from the same university’s Center for the Arts (UFPel, 2014), and holds a master’s degree in Social Memory and Cultural Heritage (PPGMP/UFPel, 2021). She is currently a PhD candidate in the Graduate Program in Architecture and Urbanism (PROGRAU/UFPel), a CAPES fellow, and a member of the City+Contemporaneity research, teaching, and extension group.

She holds a master’s degree in Architecture and Urbanism (PROGRAU/UFPel, 2021) and is a PhD candidate in Architecture at the Graduate Program in Architecture (PROPAR/UFRGS), with a CAPES fellowship and a visiting period at the Faculty of Geography, National University of Patagonia San Juan Bosco (UNPSJB, Argentina). She is a member of the research groups City+Contemporaneity (UFPel), Architecture, Derrida and Approximations (UFRGS/UERJ), and Sorting Sheds: Architecture, Design and Education (UFRGS).
