Os arquétipos da mobilidade na história: vestígios arqueológicos, narrativas religiosas/mitológicas e literatura arquitetônica

Abstract

This paper explores the urban mobility based on a diachronic investigation of vehicles and displacement according to two approaches: (a) findings from archeological remains/urban history and (b) religious/mythological narratives. The research suggests the priority given to velocity or morosity distinguishes the mobility archetypes which shape the cities thought out the history. The investigation indicates that the human being adoration is an ancestor feeling and, therefore, not only an industrial society attribute.
