Lygia Martins Costa: narrative about his contributions to Museology and Heritage

Abstract

The objective of this text is to create a narrative of the working life of the museologist Lygia Martins Costa, who at the time of writing she is almost 101 years old. The text seeks to concentrate on her contributions to Museology and national heritage, preserving something of the story of her life along the way. The structure of the narrative is defined by a series of interviews given by dona Lygia between June and November 2014 for thepurposes of a short film subsequently presented
on the 18th of December, Museology day, when her 100th birthday was celebrated along with the 30th anniversary of the formal regulation of her profession.
