Author Biography

  • Denize Elena Garcia da Silva, Universidade de Brasília

    Graduada em Letras Português-Inglês pelo Centro de Ensino Unificado de Brasília (1977), Mestra em Linguística pela Universidade de Brasília (1991) e Doutora em Linguística Hispânica pela Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (1996). Realizou estágio pós-Doutoral (2009), com o auxílio da CAPES, na Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa (FLUL) e desenvolveu atividades de pesquisa junto ao Instituto de Linguística Teórica e Computacional (ILTEC) de Portugal (2009). É Pesquisadora Colaboradora Plena junto à Universidade de Brasília, com atividades didático-pedagógicas em Linguística e em Filologia Românica.É editora-chefe do periódico internacional Cadernos de Linguagem e Sociedade (Papers on Language and Society) mantido pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Linguística da UnB , com o apoio do Núcleo de Estudos de Linguagem e Sociedade (NELiS/ CEAM/ UnB).
