Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
Editorial
Editorial: limited to 10 pages. The structure must include an introduction, development, and conclusion, with the objective of presenting a central and relevant theme that reflects the journal’s perspective. The editorial should argue the topic clearly and concisely, using data and information to support the main ideas.
Empirical article
Empirical article: limited to 25 pages, which must include all parts of the article, including references, tables, and figures. Follow the APA structure: Introduction (do not subdivide into topics); Method (identify subsections: participants, instruments or materials, and procedures); Results; Discussion (including final considerations/conclusion); and References. For writing the original article, use the Manuscript Layout and the checklist for quantitative articles or the checklist for qualitative articles.
Review articles
Review articles: limited to 25 pages. Follow the structure: Introduction (do not subdivide into topics); Method (inclusion criteria for the reviewed material, documentary data collection procedures, and analysis procedures); Results; Discussion (including final considerations/conclusion); and References. For writing the review article, use the Manuscript Layout and the PRISMA checklists for systematic reviews or scoping reviews.
Case reports
Case reports: limited to 25 pages, which must include all parts of the manuscript, including references, tables, and figures. Follow the structure: Introduction, patient information, clinical findings, timeline, diagnostic assessment, therapeutic intervention, follow-up and outcomes, discussion, patient perspective, and informed consent. For writing this format, use the Manuscript Layout and the CARE Checklist.

By submitting and having an article accepted, authors grant the journal the exclusive right of first publication, allowing the article to be published and disseminated for the first time by the journal.
