Justice, freedom and equality in political thought modern

In his masterpiece The Republic, Plato defines that the ideal city, that means the just city, is the one built upon the different features of its citizens. In the Calipolis, men, should be divided in the categories accordingly to their natural features. These categories also should be considered to define their specific in the polis´s order. A natural inequality is the paradigm of the political thought since the Ancient Greece and the Middle Ages until the XVII and XVIII Centuries, when modern political thought introduces the idea that every human being should be by nature, considered free and equal. In this essay we aim at analyzing the issue of justice in modern political thought, focusing on the principles of liberty and equality
