This article is a presentation about Walter Benjamin’s interest in Kierkegaard. We searched for some explicit references in Benjamin’s writings concerning the Danish philosopher, mapping quotes and indications, beyond the review that Benjamin wrote about the work of Kierkegaard by Adorno. We considered comments of some interpreters of Kierkegaard and Benjamin, who offered some reflexion on the affinities between the two philosophers. Based on this presentation, we pointed out a possible theoretical connection of virtual importance, presented in the work of Benjamin on the German baroque drama.
