Efeitos de realidade em Incidente em Antares, de Érico Veríssimo
Abstract
O texto procura discutir o modo como o romance Incidente em Antares, de Érico Veríssimo, problematiza as feições do discurso testemunhal, assumindo estratégias específicas da narrativa literária. Os vários gêneros conclamados pela tessitura do romance são distendidos e o que parece ligar-se a referentes históricos determinados é rasurado pelo apelo à ironia, à sátira e ao fantástico. Tais recursos, entretanto, não conseguem impedir que o que se encena no espaço romanesco possa ser assumido como testemunho de uma época.
