Abstract

The mythology was resized from the understanding of men as a result of their own attitude in the cosmos in the Greek classical period. This dominant belief was projected in several aesthetic manifestations of the ancient world and reconsidered by Plato later, and especially in his “Allegory of the cave”. It was printed in these manifestations an antagonistic posture which saw, in these human attitudes, a mixture between the search for rationality and the inevitable instinctive condition of the unconscious. So, it is discussed in this work this antagonistic process from the spatial positioning of basic architectural complexes in the archaeological site of Delphi.
