The article is an adaptation of an interview conducted with Schirley P. França, presented in her doctoral thesis: Carroça de Mamulengos: poetics of coexistence and memories of those who lived and tell their stories, written by Daniela Rosante Gomes. Carroça de Mamulengos is the oldest traveling family theater company in the country, with the same theater group since its beginning (always growing as the family grows) and with uninterrupted activities, traveling the lands and corners of Brazil since 1977. Schirley P. França is the mother of this family, made up of 8 daughters, 8 granddaughters and a fable of people who accompanied the family in its different phases of existence. The article brings the reflections of both interspersed in performative writing that allows us to glimpse the intimate tone of the conversation. A light but also profound dialogue that wanders through details of the daily life of a mother, Woman and Artist who completes her Life in Art in the processes of endless motherhood and mothering.
