Design de serviços: estudo de caso do Instituto Refazer

The study explores the role of service design in promoting social innovations within Brazilian Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), focusing specifically on Instituto Refazer, an organization supporting families in vulnerable situations. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the demand for innovative social solutions frame the context. The objective was to investigate how service design can optimize value delivery and positively impact organizational culture.
Using qualitative research methodologies, including in-depth interviews and institutional document analysis, the research mapped key points of interaction and communication between staff and beneficiaries. Key findings highlight the importance of strategic alignment between leadership and volunteers and the need for more structured internal processes.
Recommendations include implementing onboarding processes, improving internal communication, and creating an intranet for organizational documentation.
