TERREIROS: UMA EXPRESSÃO ANCESTRAL

Abstract

The realization of a text whose main claim is to express the uniqueness, magnitude and legacy of enslaved blacks and blacks must be presented beyond a history of victimization and submission. The process of slavery did not annihilate us; on the contrary, it strengthened us and continues to show us paths of mind and, as such, plants us in the present with our eyes on the future. This essay discusses the meaning of the coexistence of the saint's family in the terreiro, the teachings of the older and the older as a political act of creativity and resistance, we lack confidence in the contrasts, disorders and needs that put us on watch for our place.
