Abstract

Tradução de 10 poemas de La isla de los cánticos, de María Eugenio Vaz Ferreira. María Eugenia Vaz Ferreira (1875-1924) é uma das grandes poetas do Uruguai do primeiro quartil do século XX, integrando a chamada generación del 900. O livro La isla de los cánticos (A ilha dos cânticos) reúne quarenta e um poemas da poeta uruguaia, publicado, postumamente, em 1924/1925. A seleção aqui inclui: Resurrección (Ressurreição),  Nocturno (Noturno), Tu rosa y mi corazón (Tua rosa e meu coração), El ataúd flotante (O esquife flutuante), Holocausto (Holocausto), La rima vacua (A rima vazia), Voz del retorno (Voz do retorno), Impromptu sentimental (Improviso sentimental), Único poema (Único poema) e Enmudecer (Emudecer).
