Abstract

The article discusses the hydropower project to be developed on the Mazaruni River, in Guyana, which seeks to export energy to Brazil. Mazaruni River is located in the Esequibo region, historically claimed by Venezuela. The intention is problematizing the impacts of this project in the relations between Brazil, Guyana and Venezuela.
