Keywords:
.Abstract
Beginning in the fifties, there has been in Brazil a series of institutional
strategies aimed at creating a research structure in this country. This article
recounts the principal moments in which explicit state action reflects the necessity
of integrating science and tecnology to the socio-economic dynamic.
Multinational corporations, local capital and the State appear as structuring
agents of the capacity for endogenous scientific and technological production,
motivating an ensemble of actors who incorporate the interests of those
agents.
