Abstract

The main objective this paper relies on controlling the thermal flux of a printed circuit board (PCB) with anisotropic behaviour. The Boundary Element Method (BEM) was used in order to solve the differential governing equation for potential problems. The Genetic Algorithm (GA) was used as method of search for the optimal solution. Finally two numerical examples are presented for demonstrating the feasibility of the proposed methodology.
