Defining the precise moment at which an idea becomes something concrete is a difficult task and with Pólemos it is no different. One can say, in this case, that the idea arose from dissatisfaction. A small group of students realized that the course of Philosophy was immersed in a peculiar situation: represented a rich environment of production and discussion that, however, did not have the means to publish this content. The idea was born: a journal of Philosophy of the University of Brasilia, designed from students to students.
