Under the National Intangible Heritage Program, note the use of Musealization procedures as Patrimonialization instrument. The Safeguard Plans executed or current, between 2002 and 2013, among the patrimonialization processes of 29 Heritage ten resulted in museological nature of actions - among them the preparation of the proposed creation of Samba Museum (in progress). In the face of such data, the goal is to analyze the articulation of strategies between the Patrimonialization and Musealization processes in the initial proposal for the creation of this museum, aiming to reflect on the role of museums in the context of policies for intangible assets. Such reflection becomes relevant because, ultimately, addresses the museums as cultural equipment at the scene of the federal public politics for Intangible Heritage.
